First off, We aren’t this tan (it’s the filter) but we are pretty much this happy. 

But it hasn’t always been like this. 

A couple of years before I met Kether, I was feeling completely lost and went through a bout of depression and anxiety. I had hit rock bottom. I knew there was a lot of inner work and healing that needed to be done. I took time to myself, started investing in myself and distanced myself from negativity, toxicity and judgement. 

This journey led me to quit a stable job & buy a one way ticket back to my Motherland and to the town my parents are from, Siem Reap, Cambodia. 

Although the purpose wasn’t clear and I had no idea what I was doing, I felt so connected to the source (my highest self, intuition, whatever you want to call it) that I trusted wholeheartedly in the process. 

And yep, you guessed it, it turned out to be THE BEST DECISION EVER. 

On my second day in Siem Reap, Kether walked into my life. A special friendship was seeded, but nothing more. I knew I wasn’t ready and I was enjoying ‘dating myself.’ I was learning to find internal joy and happiness and not looking for it externally, especially from people & relationships. 

During this time, I also realised living a creative and purpose driven life (beyond the 9-5) is important to me and I started doing everything I could to work towards that, including growing Roaming Hearts. 

Living in this state of being brought me so much joy & for the first time in a very long time, I felt IN ALIGNMENT. My cup became full and overflowing and I knew I was ready to open my heart again. And lucky for me… Kether was still around (and still interested ) and our friendship blossomed into something more ️

Fast forward to today, 18 months after we met that fateful day poolside in Cambodia and I’m so glad that I listened to that divine guidance because I’m living a full & creative life with these Baby Blues in Sydney. I’m still climbing, that won’t stop, but I’m confident with where I’m going. 

So guys, if that inner voice just won’t go away and keeps telling you to do this, go there, start that… I encourage you to be still, listen, trust and act. It will lead you to magic.
